For students

You do not have to “just get it” the first time.

Math and science can feel awful when everyone else seems to understand and you are still trying to figure out where the first step came from. Tutoring is a place to slow it down.

What tutoring can help with

Homework that has gone sideways

Bring the assignment, the confusing example, or the question you almost understand.

Test and exam prep

Review the important ideas, practise the kinds of problems that show up, and build a plan for what to study next.

Missing basics

If the current unit depends on something from last year, Judy can help rebuild that piece without making it a whole dramatic thing.

Questions are allowed here.

You can say, “I do not know where to start.” You can say, “Why did they do that step?” You can say, “I understood this yesterday and now I do not.” That is normal. That is what tutoring is for.
Judy will work through examples with you, help you notice patterns, and give you a clearer next step than staring at the page and hoping it gets friendlier.
